Welcome to our new class blog!!

Well, how do you like the new look. Mrs. Wilkinson is educating all 3rd grade teachers on the art of blog building. I hope this will be a friendly way to share information about our classroom and school. We will have three regular days of instruction this week. Then next week we will be administering the CRA (Constructed Response Test) on Tuesday and Wednesday. This assessment will in no way effect your child's future. It is just a new type of test the state is considering giving in the future. The students will be given a multiple choice question and then asked to write a short description as to why they chose that answer. This will affect our schedules on Tuesday and Wednesday, but the rest of the week will be as normal.

We are having an amazing fall. The students had such a great time trick or treating over at Richland Place last Friday. This is such a positive experience for both students and residents. In fact the residents commented as to how well behaved our kids were.

Also, thanks to those of you who were able to go with us to Kentucky Down Under. This is always an amazing field trip and students are able to see so much of what we talk about in class first hand which makes this trip not only fun but educational as well. I will attempt to load pictures of our trip on here in the form of a Smilebox later this week. I have found that viewers can also print pictures of their choice from the Smilebox, so feel free to print off the ones you want.
